WHAT IS THE LIONS’ PRIDE ANNUAL FUND?

The Lions’ Pride Annual Fund was established in 2005 as a way to bridge the gap between tuition and the full cost of educating our students. Tuition revenues do not cover the entire operating budget of the school, and the Annual Fund is an important part of helping SHCS fulfill its mission of educating the whole person to see with Christ’s eyes. 
 

The annual cost to educate a student is $10,377, while the average yearly tuition cost is $7,073. The Annual Fund makes up that crucial difference and helps us achieve excellence in education.

WHY DON’T YOU JUST RAISE TUITION?

We work hard to keep costs down so that St. Helen Catholic School continues to be as affordable as possible.  This opens the doors for families who want their children to be guided through faith, learning, and leadership. Gifts to the Lions’ Pride Annual Fund are voluntary and tax-deductible, unlike tuition.

HOW ARE THESE FUNDS USED?

Gifts to the Annual Fund contribute to the school’s operating budget. Your generous donations support SHCS in many ways, including but not limited to:

•    Recruit and retain the highest quality teachers and staff.
•    Offer professional development opportunities to our staff.
•    Upgrade technology and equipment as needed.
•    Offer student spiritual retreats.

One-time Gift: 
Make your tax-deductible donation with cash, a check, or online with a credit card HERE.

Recurring Gifts:
Help your gift go further by committing to a recurring donation. Set up your pledge online and have your gift automatically deducted each month HERE.

Matching Gifts: 
Your employer may match your donation and increase the amount of your gift.  Ask your company if they offer this benefit.

Planned Gifts: 
Consider leaving a legacy with a planned gift through a will, life insurance, life income gifts, and charitable lead trusts. Contact the Development Office for more information.
